Few bits arrived today  most important was the reverse bleeder kit so i can now bleed the front brake proper after fitting a nice new chrome handbrake & flushed the fluid which was dark brown & bittey, new bleed nipples also. For some reason the caliper has two bleed nipples one for each piston i believe it's of a Yamaha xj600 pre diversion? not come across that before...Notice i said chrome Barry.
The older i get the earlier it seems to get late.

What a nightmare yesterday trying to bleed the front brake :bang: never had trouble bleeding like this, could not stop it blowing air so replaced crush washers on master cylinder & caliper checked for leaks, still no go so whipped of the caliper for inspection & who ever bled brake previously had tightened down the bleed nipple so much that it had crushed the end & after me releasing it would not reseat proper and was pulling air through the threads :hissyfit: so needless to say new nipples ordered just hoping it hasn't damaged the seating in the caliper, visually looks OK though.

Eventful morning working on the trike replaced the old front brake lever & it bled fine so in conclusion the new aftermarket chinese lever was naff :hissyfit: sorted a bad earth on the rear lights & rewired the hand brake switch  turn her over & she fired first time after sitting idle for near on three weeks in this damp & cold weather  next job rear brakes overhaul, got new everything except drums until i see what condition there in, then just a service & she's ready to go.

Are they ok when you rev the engine? Lets have a pic of them as I got some running lights which when you first switch on flash then the second time go to a steady light. Like these.
