Result trikes coming Saturday morning, a mate of the sellers delivering it cheaper than Shipley. Will you all be watching Henry cole on channel 24 ITV4 at 9.00pm tonight? the history of the triumph motorcycle, should be interesting if he dont waffle on to much.

Opinions please. Points or electronic ignition on vw 1300 engine, points being mechanical & easy to maintain whereas electronics go wrong it's a full replacement

Mal fitted a electronic dissy on Herman. With the electronic
ones you can get most of the inside components

To give you a idea, in over 28 year's of forklift repairs I've only replaced 1 electronic dissy component pickup.

On Herman the difference between performance and MPG was instant plus once its in and the timing reset it never needs touching again, first thing i would do.

Cheers lads,so i should get away with just fitting a electronic module into the existing dizzy, change the coil & time it up? or get a complete electronic dizzy kit.

Just been looking at some YOUtube vids looks simple enough just make sure my coil is right, just above 3 omhs...

I wouldn't bother Gorbee, i doubt you will have it long enough to benefit
