That looks a lot better, now does it pivot on the bottom section in line with the ball joint?
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

It doesn't, it has two pins that slot into the plate with retaining clips... the first pic i posted does pivot on the ball and the locating pin again secured by a clip which answers your question about it popping of going over a hump, i was thinking maybe i could make the first one look and operate the same as the last pic.... if you get what i mean :snigger:put a proper trailer hitch on and a couple of rod braces and gussets .... what do ya think ?
The older i get the earlier it seems to get late.

the whole thing needs to pivot or your front end WILL suffer lots of strain on corners
i have had to straighten the forks and front wheels from a number of idiots that have used this type of lift that dont pivot

if you lucky it may only twist in the yokes if fitted with pinch bolts and that not good too if its welded your focked

As i said UGLYMICK the first pic design pivots on the ball and locating pin, the whole thing pivots, so you strap the wheel and handlebars down onto the frame and it would operate the same as towing a caravan or trailer. It was just the strength of the frame that looked dodgy to me being where it's welded to the wheel holder itself... needs some sort of bracing me thinks.
