I was just wondering, once I have sent all the paperwork complete with cheque for road tax to DVLA do I have to wait for the new V5 to come back before I can ride my newly built trike?
The trike is a bolt on conversion to a Harley that allows me to keep existing registration, just a change from bike to tricycle.

Once you have confirmation you can ride it. Just make sure it is taxed!!Make sure you send a photo showing the frame number when you send the rest of the paperwork!!!

Confirmation they have received payment you mean or confirmation by way of getting valid paperwork back?

if you go on vehicle check on dvla website, it will tell you if it is taxed. If so you can ride it
