MOT Passed

Post by bostonbikebits »

Very happy to say my trike passed the mot with no advisories. The tester thought the handbrake efficiency may be a bit low but the compooter said yes so it's all good. I came home and put tax on it, it weighs in at 412 kilos so it's cat 3. It got very hot when stuck in traffic but when it cooled it seemed to sort itself out and even after half an hour on tickover on the drive in the sun it only went up to 77 degrees so I think I had an air bubble. The handling with my new front end is very good indeed - no wobble, nice and stable easy to steer - it may not please some people with it's appearance but I am delighted, the improvement is immense. I have now affixed my whiskey barrel, it's ready to commence post run duties, tomorrow will be it's first day of work.
