Good morning all, just a quickie How much are you paying for road tax ? Just got my reminder through £295 for 12 months, Rewaco HS4 . Over £100 dearer than my Jeep Cherokee.

Sounds like your trike weight classifies it as a car, is registered pre 2001 and over 1549cc.

I pay the same for my V8 3.5l trike.

Yes it is the top weight and listed as light goods vehicle reg in the UK 2004 .

That don't sound right! A trike is clearly a trike and not a goods vehicle doesn't make any difference what it's weight is after 450kg surely? Maybe getting it re-assessed via msva test?
