Hi all, here's a strange one for you! I've been talking to a fellow club member of mine who happens to work for a company in Germany that specialises in re-lining brake shoes. He reckons that the braking efficiency of Reliant shoes can be improved enormously with a change to high grade lining compounds. I'm willing to give it a shot but i need 8 old rear brake shoes so if anybody has any please let me know. Happy to pay for postage etc., don't want to take our trikes off the road while the work's being done hence the need for old knackered ones.
If you can help gimme a shout. Cheers, Bob.

Re: Brake shoes.
Just had a dig through my box of old bits, I have an axle set doing nothing at the moment... I could do with a bit more stopping power at the back! was thinking of trying to skim the drums to improve it before looking to change the master cylinder. Drop me a PM and we can sort something out.
