Looks very nice indeed Twisted, what's the next change?
I recon it needs a turbo
Stumpy is an absolute genius with his builds.

Re: I now own a trike!!!
ha ha turbo not just yet. happy with my new power and speed...... for awhile at least
had a little leak from the diff where we had split it. remembered that i had never seen and we couldnt find a breather hole on the axle we we played with it so figured that pressure build up wouldnt help matters. drilled a new 2mm hole in the left axle tube an put a small split pin in it to stop crap getting in. cleaned the diff up and put some paint on it to help seal it so will see what happens now.
started on making a rad grill to stop stones fling into it.

Re: I now own a trike!!!
looking a lot better with that lump in mate well done to you and Stumpy, word of advice thou, those engines need regular maintenance so keep on top of it, I know of one in a bike, same bike 3 different owners over the years and 5 engines, when they run low on oil they blow the crank on the front cylinder, its engine out and £300 just for a crank regrind then new bearings gaskets on top you catch my drift, a decent running lump is £7-800 so keep on top of it matey

before going to popham last weekend i made and fitted a rad grill to stop stones smashing in to the front of the rad. galvanized steel grill and push on rubber edging.
also had the tank off for a bit of sanding and spraying. you can see the all thats been fitted under there.

Re: I now own a trike!!!
putting the paint on has helped show up where i need to do more work and will help stop it rusting while i do it.
also need to add an led for my alarm and one for a temperature warning light. so removed the old bracket i made for my speedo and made a new one to include the new leds.
have found i have a problem with my hazards though. they flash like im at a rave think the flasher unit may have gone faulty so will order a new one and hopefully that will sort it.

Re: I now own a trike!!!
so the trike has been popping/back firing on start up and whilst warming. when it had warmed up it seemed ok. i thought i could see a split on the left side of the inlet manifold so after hunting high and low ordered one from italy on ebay.
so it came and i set about removing the old one and fitting the new.
what i thought was a split wasn't but i think i found the problem
the vacuum pipe came away with the hose as i pulled it
when i looked underneath i found this split which looks like it leads to the inside at a few points.
fitted the new one and....... no more popping
