Forum Rules and Guidelines

Please help us to continue to grow the forum by adopting these Guidelines.

For existing members you do most of this anyway.

For “Newbies”, it’s not rocket science.

Members Guidelines

These are straightforward and revolve around being respectful to other members and their opinions.

NEW MEMBERS POSTS
If you are a member who is posting for the first time, please do so by introducing yourself in the new members section. This allows other members to welcome you .......Good manners.

If you are responding to a new member’s first post, please remember to respond to the NEW MEMBERS post. Don’t hi jack the thread by commenting on something an existing member has said or start talking cr*p just to show off......NOT Good manners.

HI- JACKING THREADS
Definition:- Completely changing the subject and substance of an existing thread with a single post.

It’s downright rude. It shows scant concern for the opinions or feelings of the person who took the time and trouble to begin the thread.

A thread is a conversation. If you were speaking with a group of people about Capital punishment and one of them suddenly began talking about the holiday villa he owns in Spain..... you would think he was a right ignorant so and so..........Not good manners.

MEMBERS MACHINERY
Expressing a negative opinion for another member’s machinery is a complete and utter NONO.

Advice may be offered if you see something that may be dangerous. This should be done in a way that does not cause offence.

Remember you are commenting on someone’s pride and Joy, be it home built, shop bought, Rat or Custom.

ADULT FUN
“The Swamp” was created for this purpose....you want to be disgusting....that’s the place to post Ladies

SWEARING AND PROFANITY
Frankly we would prefer you didn’t swear at all.......

OPINIONS
We all have them......

There is a massive diversity of opinions on here as you would expect. The lord knows we certainly aren’t P.C., nor do we wish to be.

There is however a huge difference between taking the p**s and being down right insulting. We’re all adults and we are pretty sure most of you know the difference. If you don’t, ask somebody.

If your opinions are not compatible with site ethics, keep em to yourself or your time with us will be short

APOLOGIES
Everyone falls out with someone from time to time. If you upset someone, even if it’s unintentional..... apologise.
It costs nothing and the respect you will gain is immeasurable.

COMMENT
This is one of the best Trike Technical Forums on the W.W.W. It also manages to laugh at itself, its members and the rest of the world.

That’s down to you, the people who live here.
