Rear Flag on my Rewaco.

Post by davidh »

My son bought me a Flag pole for my Birthday in August. Finely it's fitted, cost me £19.50 import duties before the carrier would deliver my present :hissyfit: then a bit of thinking as he bought the wrong size :bang: but using the usual 38mm Highway hawk clamps, some stainless 19mm tubing and stainless bolts it's now fitted, cost more to fit than the flag did but it's the though that counts rofl. I have some where to mount high level brake lights when I get around to it now as well.

I'm tempted to stick a couple of flag poles to mine but the ones I could find cost a bomb
So I'm trying to work out how to make my own :hmm:
:loco:  :rotfl: :b :woot: :killing me:  :drink: :shemademe:

You've done a good job there. buying from usa is a rip off after tax and paying royal mail handling I got stung with my fuel gauge never again

Hmm so far the stuff I have got from the states have been a lot cheaper than getting them from Europe.

I bought a solid SS flag pole mound from Ebay for £20 quid.

I used some carbon tube also from fleabay and made a stainless transition bit from the clamp to the carbon tube. Not sure how long to make the flagpole as i want to put it in my box at the back when i leave the trike.

On another subject where did to get you rear rack? cheers

The rear rack is a Rewaco one as my trike came with bags, so it was fitted as standard to it.
