nuts and bolts

Post by Stix »

Free to any one that wants to come and get them, I have like others always saved nuts and bolts when some thing has been stripped, been collecting for over 25 years and they weigh at least 2 cwt, all types of threads unc/unf af cycle thread and some metric, just need them gone and figure they are to much use to just weigh them in for scrap.

Only wish I could Lep but postage costs would be a mare, also got a load of old spanners whit worth and the like in a big ole tool chest that will have to go. Just don't want to scrap it all for a few ££ when they will come in handy for some-one. will try and get some pics tomoz and put them up.

Maybe I should just come over with the car, and my coin jar ;)

Not sure I could get over before Stockton, so can't take anything up with me.
Bikers know why dogs stick their head out of car windows.

Welcome any time but the box of bolts is very heavy and would need to be separated into buckets or something like that to be able to move them, old tool box will be easier to move and I do have a pair of sack trucks to aid moving it

Mixture of both. Got some new sockets and combination spanners. Then went to a car boot sale. Avoided the guys who collect and polish old tools and sell them at a premium and hunted thorough old tool boxes full of shite until I found what I wanted.
Came away with a very nice collection for only a couple of quid. Certainly ended up with enough to do the job.
