Glad you got there ok.
They are really nice people in the Cafe. The whole airfield is pretty much a family run affair,
See you in the morning.

Re: Starlight Popham - 10 Aug 2016
Sorry to miss Popham, disappointed but things went tits up. Feeling too tired and aching all over after doing so much to free these two days, on Monday I thought I could pull it off but even cancelling my Tuesday joyride and bike night at Bassets Pole it turned out I would have to return today, I just bit off a bit more than I could chew. I got up at 06:00, unhitched the trailer to head for Warwick services at 08:30 to bushwack Matt & Alex. I was approaching M42J09 pulled into the layby, and thought to myself ' 350+ mile day at these speeds', I was preoccupied with being tired on the way home, so I turned around and came back. I was away last weekend, am in Cheshire the coming weekend, I head for Ireland on the 16th for a week, and am away every weekend in September.
Main thing it its all good, weather is great, I hope the day goes well, and ride safe everyone.

Re: Starlight Popham - 10 Aug 2016
No probs ,mate, it is a very tiring day.
Everytime I take the trike to Popham something happens to it. This year it was my brake servo that failed.
Not worth risking it doing rides, but I did get home ok,
Kayjay had is coil fail, though I think he managed to get a replacement.
It was knockdolian (Paul), Lep and Mal's first time, I wouldn't be surprised if they are back next year.
Thankyou to you all for rocking up.
Next year I am taking the bike

Just got back from this. What a humbling experience and a great day. Some of those kids had balls of steel. Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to next year. Thanks to the Starlight people for all they do. Nice to finally meet some forum members as well

Yep. It was another fantastic and humbling day. 4 hrs there, 38 laps, 4 hrs back. Worth every minute of it to hear those kids giggling and to see them smiling.
Left my fuel cap at the petrol station - numb nuts!!
Myself and Alex were not far behind the horrendous and tragic crash on A34. Luckily took a detour and got out in front of it - otherwise we would still be there.
