Anyone know what is the biggest wheel i can put on a reliant axle please. The ones on look like they are off a vauxhall nova.

Re: What wheels
I had 17" Rover alloys on my last trike Kawasaki 550 gt reliant B axle again.
The older i get the earlier it seems to get late.

Re: What wheels
Have a look at the Exile Trike,
Personally I'd gauge the sidewall proportions, and not use any low profile tyres( ie not 35/40/45)
generally I'd go for 8 inch wide wheels and 265/50x15 or 10 inch and 295/50

Re: What wheels
The taller you go will alter the gearing plus running low profile tyres will give you a harsh ride especially if it's hard tail .I wouldn't go to wide as it will put a lot of pressure on the axel as the have small studs and generally not a strong unit in their construction

Re: What wheels
Reliant axles are 4x4" not 4x100mm there is a difference and 8mm studs as pointed out by Jinja above

Re: What wheels
Thanks guys. It's a susuki gs850 I am looking at maybe a couple sizes bigger just to lift the back end. At the moment it doesn't look to clever. We will see. Can't make my bloody mind up but want to do something .
