After some dry days, I have managed to weld together a frame. I have to borrow an engine hoist to drop the engine back in to measure for mountings.

Mine was emission tested, MOT station said if it's a class 4 it gets tested if it's a class 3 then it's exempt.

That looks good Mole, bit of a bugger lifting the engine in and out though every time you need to measure something though

I'm trying to to keep the weight down as I can hardly lift the frame now. If I had a bigger shed I could lay it all out, but as it's only 8 x 11, I have to pack everything away each time.

Not done a lot as the weather has been crap.

I did drop the engine back in, but realised the frame was going to be far too short. I cut the back end off the same day, and pushed the lump back about two feet.

I decided to re-design the back end, using a cradle for the engine. Will bend up another tube to match this one.

Thanks mate.

Between having shitty weather and pulling a muscle in my back, I didn't get a lot done.
