I laid the bits out. I want it to be a two seater, but the passenger might burn their arse on the exhaust manifold.
Used up all my tube again on the rear loop and lower suspension mounts.

Thanks Adam.

I have hit a problem though. I was going to take off the struts and wishbones, & fit them to the frame first, but I have miss-judged the length of the rear frame.

Its not a complete scrap job, but I am going to upset my timetable by getting the engine and gearbox out of the car first, and drop it into the cage.

I'm no build expert and believe me I have made some real f**k ups in my time but why not get the motor out and in position and build the cage around it?

That's what I am going to do. I have been taking bits off the front of the car today. Once the wiring loom is out of the wings, I am going to attack them with Mr Disc Cutter and wheel the lump out on a trolly.

Not done a lot. Mostly fully welded some joints, so I will post photo's of the frame when I can afford more metal.

I was taking the engine out, but in their wisdom, Nissan have fitted anti-tamper torx screws to various bits, so I am waiting for a set off Am*zon as well.
