Very little penetration? More like none! There's no root penetration on the shaft either! He's no freaking welder that's for sure!
Have a look at the state of the prop shaft I had to contend with on mine! Made of galvanised water pipe! :bang:

shitty death man how ther hell are muppets allowed to get away with this, ive got an engineer over the way from me making a 6" stepped insert to go into the shaft with a hole bored up the middle the same diameter of the shaft this has 2 holes bored through so i can get to internal weld the shaft in place once its all been welded hes then going to machine it to tidy it up and balance it for me(its so nice to know those kinda people)

Well the trike is finally finished and past its mot with no advisories its now in Leeds. With a very happy person
