From an engineering POV a shock at that angle will have to be ridiculously hard with about 2" of movement! I'm surprised the wheel hubs don't have a top A arm to brace and locate the hub?

Hi Kawazuki. xj6 Jag axles don't have a top arm wishbone that's why I went for it as for shocks still working on that may bring an arm out under the pannier then down to wishbone using the existing shocks with separate air ride ones. it trial and error on this as I have never seen a jar axle on a 1500 wing

Not much progress The air shocks arrived. so I made the shock absorber upper and lower brackets.

A mate dropped these Brackets off ready to make the new wishbones.

He is going to fully weld the diff cradle up on Friday so hopefully I can start putting it all back together

Thanks yes I'm pleased with the outcome. as for the width I prefer the original look as well. I will be reducing it by 150mm overall I'm going to make some new wishbones for this.
