Had the same with mine when you hit a pothole even going over a speed bump at 10mph use to bottom out and jolt the trike .
That's why I changed it to the jag axle. the ride is 100% better well worth the time and effort doing it and I still have the panniers.
It put the rpm up to 3500 @ 70mph

Jinjachin. my mate got a jag axle on he's 1500 Valkyrie but I have not seen one on the 1500 Goldwing fully dressed

Well I'm funked! That's the first Goldie I thought of getting but was weary of that big black sail/parachute on the back!
Was up for £8000 about three yrs ago.

Hi All its been a while hope your all well.
I've been busy doing some more alterations to my trike. even though I like the jag setup I wasn't really happy with the width 5ft 10". so I have reduced the it down by 10" to 4ft 9" o/a width. made new wishbones cut and sleeved the drive shafts. well that's about it. It seems to handle better on corners
