Well, got looking on e bay, (I know I should keep off it !)
And saw this only 30 miles away and cheap as chips,
So after a struggle and calling it evey @&?£ under the sun I managed to get it in the back of my ford connect, nearly got the doors shut too
So got to get on and finish the vw now
I know you lot like pics and seeing what other folk are doing in their sheds

Re: GS 650 project (another one!)
I need to get my arse in gear.
I still have to re-wire the trike, and re-design the seating and location of the tank.
I need to build up a spare 4.0l V8 engine I have, and clean up a spare Borg Warner 65 auto box, and then test run them in the trike.
I have a kitchen on a pallet in the garage that needs fitting.
I just got a 1970's Dandy trailer tent that needs a facelift ready for rallies next season.
And loads of other small stuff to do, alongside work.
I do like that trike, but not sure about the aesthetics of the box on the back.

Like 1130cc said, the box looks a bit like something Batman would have on his mobility scooter ( if he had one ) apart from that she looks great

Looking good.
Sean - take the advice. Kitchen first - you will need a quiet life and feeding to get all that done!

Well been waiting for the V5 to come back, a letter turned up yesterday with all the paperwork to register it as a bolt on rear trike. Bit surprised as I was expecting the bike V5.turns out the previous owner had filled it in and I didn't notice !
Phoned them up and it seems a lot easier than I thought, not bothered about receipts
for the bits as I brought it complete, just need to MOT it,weigh it and take a photo/pencil rubbing ( not done that since junior school ) of the VIN number, fill in built up form and send them the money for the tax. Keep the bike reg number.
Seems a bit to easy !!!!

I'll do a straight swap with you if you feel the need for something a bit more difficult that is good news though

Right, finally getting on with it. Cleaned all the paint off the springers, chrome not perfect but a lot better than all that black paint
Made the seats and fitted a tank that came with a project, fits and looks OK.
Had to make another sissy bar as the old one nearly fell off (rubbish welding )
Got rid of the box on the back, turns out it was a barbeque ! might put it back on could be good for rallies !
