Feeling a bit guilty

Post by Herby01 »

A new project has entered my hands, feeling a bit guilty as it was a steal! Paperwork checks out, properly registered as a Honda trike, had MSVA, needs tlc as it's been sat for about 4 years under cover, there's a couple of things need attention namely rear shock mounts are literally a bar welded to the frame! Handbrake is a snake that keeps dropping off its wheels and the fairing isn't finished.
Previous owner couldn't get on with it and lost interest. I think it has promise

See what you mean about that bar.....dodgy....really surprises me when someone takes so much care with the rest of it & then do a completely unsafe bodge... such is life.
The older i get the earlier it seems to get late.

That's real nice Swirl  love the exhaust, one of the things on my list is the exhaust, I'm thinking of a couple of shorty pipes or little slash cuts. And that centre stand has gotta go :hammer: What use it has on a trike I don't know :poke:
I kinda like the fairing, might look a lot better if it was actually finished, the guy still has the original light and twin lights that came with the fairing! I think it might be an aftermarket job styled on a Harley Road glide or something similar.
Anyway I can collect it Sunday then I can dig into it
