Mine is the same as yours Lep C/A import 1989.
I have a 5.4gal/24.38 lt tank.
approx. 20lt to red warning light then 4+ lt reserve
it dose about 34m to the gal hard riding

ill check again the next time i let it go very low iv never had the fuel light come on so ur probly right

Lep. when you switch the ignition on does the fuel light come on then go off after a few seconds. my fuel gauge needle goes passed the E before the light come on. carry a gallon of fuel just in case you run out.
Well that was a long wait for paperwork 6 weeks after I sent the paperwork off I got a letter saying I had to fill in another form in, filled that in with all the info I had put in my cover letter but 3 weeks after that it's all done and legal. It has thankfully kept it's original reg number.
I had a run over to the coast to Whitby did 170 miles on one tank so not to bad I think it works out at 34mpg ish. We also had a run down to the National Memorial Arboretum 320Ile round trip.
It keeps 65 mph up no problem at just under 3000 rpm so we'll happy with it it's straight as a die I just need to sort the rear suspension out it's a bit firm.
All in all I'm happy with it, we are off the France for a weekend soon just need to get the miles in to learn how to ride it properly.
