Hi Zee. I used to live / work in Dubai (Jumeirah - near Guest Palace - now a museum) from '77 to '84. I year in Bahrain before that. Been back for a holiday / visit @ every 10 years since then - last visit Nov 2017 - stayed at Meridien next to Barasti Bar - what used to be Fourth Harbour way back.

You are a brave man considering triking in Dubais traffic - like driving in a perpetual spaghetti junction these days.

Are there many trikes in Dubai?

Hi Ghoulie ... glad to know you were in Dubai... I work in Jumeirah (Sunset Mall) and playing with Metal is my hobby. This Trike will be the only Vmax in UAE and maybe GCC ... there are few Trikes here but mainly Harleys and those trikes that are built in Thailand !! The best place to ride a Trike here is Northern Emirates where you can enjoy the weather and mountains....

Fond memories of RAK, Fujeirah, Korfakan Zee - and Dubai back then when the place was much quieter

Question to trike builders ...

I know I have to rack the front 5 degrees for soft handling; the triples are custom made and I have an option to go for 190 front wheel with one disc (Hayabusa rear wheel) !! What do you think ? will it affect handling ? Braking (one disk) ? or I should stay with the Vmax stock wheel ...

I appreciate much your replies in advance.

It shouldn't affect your handling a lot of bikes only have one disc but the brakes won't be so good .but I know of a v8 and a v6 trike that run a r6 rear swing arm and wheel up front so there's a lot more weight to stop and they don't have any problems
