hi nicko not been on for a while so just seen your post ,no reason rely other than did not have them in my hand so not sure how they would work with how my frame was constructed,i wanted the mounting points to be as wide as possible.this worked in my favore when it came to working out the mounts for my mud guards as they need to be removable to take the mgb wire wheels off the splined .hubs so the mountings were a happy accident realy
