Been having fun today with some polishing gear. I used one of these to clean off the rust area on the silencers.

They work well. Then I tried a flap polishing disc to bring up some shine.
But the grinder speed was to high and the flaps started to fly off. So most of this will be covered by the heat guards any way.
Next year I will think about some new silencers, or sleeve them with polished tube.

Yes they came up well. Just found a place 20 miles from mine that do made to measure stainless exhaust systems. So I will get a price for the tail sections from them some time this year.

Well the weather was good for a few hours today so got the exhausts back on plus the engine running. Had it running for around 15 min and its looking good so I think the oil leak is fixed I hope. Then the hailstones started so that's it for now.

Here it is with the old frame on. Just waiting to hear back from the welder about when he can do it.

Mine had this on.
I believe that it is also required if mudguards do not have the edges rolled.
The trim gets around the "No sharp edges" rule.
