I did a dig about and found the oil leak!!!! I hope I have it right this time. The Devcon filler that I mixed and built up the case around the oil cooler had collapsed and the seals would not seal on one side. This may be because when I mixed it up it was cold and hard to mix. I cleaned it up and applied some more to the area. I will look at it in a few days to file it down and refit every thing back on.

You can see the new filler on the left hand side.

Well I have been to busy with the house to do anything but have decided to get a engine bottom end built up with the spare cases I have.
They will be sent off with the spare crankshaft/rods/flywheel in a few weeks time.
Will keep you lot posted.

Well after checking the cost of the work I've decided to get a service exchange engine.
This will be quicker and have a 12 months 12000 miles warranty. It comes with loads of new parts and should be ready in a few weeks time.

Good on ya,in retrospect i think that's your best option then it's just a straight swop, plus the warranty is good  if mine ever had trouble that's the way i will go.
The older i get the earlier it seems to get late.
