Where abouts you too? Is the axle an "A" stamped one and does it have all the brakes still. Im going to use the original brake drums for the moment just to keep the cost down. But ive been looking through your posts and youve given me some many ideas to think about. Your build looks great.

Camberley in Surrey! Don't know if axle is stamped or not - as far as I know its from a early car ie low geared and with LP tyres and 13's its not ideal - but it came with the frame so it got used. I have another similar axle spare, just without drums!

Not a bandit, but a Gsx750f, with a 1100 powerscreen motor in it, it went very well, will try and find some pics of the very nice back end that was in it

Nice one. How have you conected the motor to the axle, drive shaft or chain. Are the gsx750fs shaft driven?

I had it on the road it was a rocket, chain drive, they are all nearly the same, Bandit 6 and 12, gsxf 6, 750 and 1127, gsxr 748, 749, 1052, 1127, all off them the same mountings the smaller ones have a smaller rear mount easily drilled out to stick a larger motor in, the only oil cooled shafty suuk is the gsx1100g, go for it, I'll see if I can find some pics of the back end
