Just a thought but do you reckon those differential mounts will be up to it?

There's more welding and some gussets to go into it but they are fairly substantial, and the pivot bolts go through the frame at the bottom too.

I thought it would need radius arms to the outer ends, but apparently lots of hot rods, Cobras etc don't run them.

You're right, it's usual to not bother with them - I believe they're more to do with stopping the standard rubber mounted diff cage (which you haven't got) from wiggling about under braking/acceleration.

Quick coat of red oxide and Hammerite, and as mentioned elsewhere I've already had to cut chunks out of the frame to get the handbrake mechanism in place. It's all welded up again and should work....

For some reason I can't add more pics to a post once I upload some. Hence why a few simple pics is spread over 3 posts. :o

I had to make a clevis to fasten to the front end of the cable. I had two old cables off a Mazda axle, which I've cannibalised to do the job.

A bit more dry assembly. The electrics box doubles up as the passenger seat base. I need to find some sort of simple catches to hold it down securely.

Not sure if you mean catches to hold the box to the frame or the lid to the box but I used these to secure a lid and they've a built in lock so no padlocks flapping about.

It is to hold the lid on the box. The box bolts down to brackets on the frame. Them catches look like they'd do the trick, but I don't have enough space at each side of the box, above the frame rail. Thanks anyway. There's quite a few other interesting catches on that same web site, something may well do the job.

Yes some great catches showing on that site. And some in stainless.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.
