Sorry to hear about your back.
The GF did hers last Sunday and spent a week on Zapain, plus a few hits with the TENS machine. Co-codamol don't agree with her.
Are you a good patient to yourself

Re: Honda CX500 build
Bless her, she has my sympathy !!
Zapain is co-codamol, it’s 30mg codeine and 500 mg paracetamol each tablet, take 2 tablets every 4 hours, 8 tablets max in 24 hrs, that’s what I take every day. The problem is your body gets used to the codeine and when you get break through pain, there isn’t anything stronger other than oramorph that your gp or surgeon will give you it’s a bloody nightmare ! I hope she’s starting to feel better and no, I’m a sh!t patient

Lol.
Yeah, I have had the "joys" of a couple of bottles of oramorph.
Great stuff, mixed in with Gabapentin and Naproxin.
I had the dubious please of a disc, in my neck, popping out into the nerve bundle.
Left to dissolve, and now fully recovered.

Ouch ! prolapsed discs are literally a pain in the neck (sorry couldn’t resist ) good to hear it resolved though sadly my neck is beyond surgery but I’m hoping my surgeon can do something with my lower back to take the pressure off the nerve roots

Re: Honda CX500 build
Happy New Year everybody peeps
Hope everyone is safe and well and Santa has been good to you !!
Been an awfully long time since I’ve been able to get any work done on Tinkerbell but the last couple of days I’ve been mobile enough to do a bit more. Finally got my rear brake master cylinder and linkages all mocked up and working really well. Made a couple of adjustments to the pannier carrier bars on the left side, wasn’t sitting quite right. This means I can get back to permanently welding up the front fairing supports and adding a few locating brackets from the radiator to the bottom of the fairing.
It feels wonderful to be back working on the old girl, desperate to get her finished and have some fun !
Anyhoo here’s that all important photo album link, all criticism, comments and ideas welcome

Take care, Steph
