Pot 4 dead

Ok sat outside in shorts n tshirt, but trike not well head gasket or valve gone down, pot 4 not well will do surgery on Tuesday

Probably the standard aircooled VW problem.

They have an unfortunate knack of buning valves out, when they do it normaly takes the head with it.

When you pop the head off check very carefully for a crack between the exhaust and inlet valves....as soon as a valve goes it burns the seat, and because the valves are so close together, it cracks the head.

Got a couple of 1600 ones with just the same fault in the garage.

You may get lucky though if you caught it in time.
