Postby Monkey » Thu Oct 26, 2017 6:45 am

Hi all thanks for the add. I am building a trike completey from scratch. And seek some basic info to be getting on with before I focus on the finer details. Could you please inform me is I need a front brake as I am building a leading like front one myself. Also can I use the registration from the car I am using. I am using a Ford puma front end and engine exc. And built a box section from.

I say young man can you pop along to the new members section and introduce yourself. It's good manners even if we don't have any.

I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Re : Leading Link front end - yes you'll need a brake, but depends on whether you choose lt.wt. ie Bike Based or hvy.wt, in which case you'll have to graft a whole upright / wheel hub and caliper carrier in somehow! And No, you cannot retain the Car registration as the finished arse tickle will need MSVA check testing and you'll be assigned a 'Q' plate.
