The Hunt for ECU

Post by AngeloftheAbyss »

Greetings, trying to find my ECU on a 2009 boom low rider 1600i, I've had the seats up, the whole thing waving about like an Italian with a white flag, took the glass cover off removed the white board with the fuses attached, but the bloody ECU lead or whatever has great covert skills and remains undetected. Do any of you know where it might be. :bang:

Let me cast my mind back a couple of weeks............with the perspex cover off and standing at the back of the trike facing forwards, the ecu laptop cables should be tucked into the left next to the main inline fuse, failing that loosen the white fuse board off and its in the middle down at the bottom, I managed to slide my phone in and take a picture of it to check the version number and its a pain to get to, have you got vag comm to read the ecu ?

If I stare at them for 1/2 an hour while drinking a can of Strongbow, that might help.

I am thinking of poking it with a stick and maybe shouting at it, if that fails I might just shake my head and add a few TUT TUTS
