Hi - interested in automatic trike

Post by glerwill »

Hi,
I'm Graham, and along with Mandy am based in Bristol.

Mandy has a 2016 burgman 400, along with a full (automatic) licence. She is getting a bit of arthritis and may want a trike in the future, in order to keep riding (no car licence).

She likes delta trikes, so some of the tadpole trikes dont float her boat.

Ideal would be a gold wing auto trike (likes the look), but a scooter or honda or other DCT could be a donor vehicle.

I know it's not what some would consider a 'proper' trike but the tow-pac instatrike advantage looks doable - but not sure how to get a kit in UK.

Any advice or other alternative suggestions welcome

Graham

When u say full automatic licence , then u say no car licence im a little confused as my daughter has a full automatic car licence and on that I would assume she could ride a automatic trike there is quite a lot of auto trikes out there but mostly car based

Welcome to the forums.

Lep has a Goldwing Trike for sale, and you could put a shifter on it.

Welcome to the hospital for trikers. Nurse will see you to a empty padded cell !!! I mean room. When she brings around the meds make sure you hide them and then the escape committee meets on the roof.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.
