Its coming on well how are you going to do the hand brake as it has to be separate to the main braking system i know it's a problem when using the set up you are using .

Re: Metro auto trike - first build
Thanks guys!
For the handbrake, ive used MGF rear calipers which fit easy enough with a very slight elongation of one of the caliper bracket holes. Ive chosen to use standard MGF handbrake cables too - these are naturally a bit too long but ive looped them round once and it seems to work fine. Just figured it would be better to do this, so its easier to get replacement cables should i need them.

Re: Metro auto trike - first build
Looking at the two frame piccies - you seem to have removed the bracing on the cranked frame tube? There is a lot of bending moment through this section - for your own (and others) safety please consider adding either some side plating over the joint or a rib flange to the acute angle ie. rider side!

hiya Kawazuki! That's a valid point, and there are two welded plates (one either side) which I think should be strong enough... hard to see in the photos above... i'm hoping these zoomed in images are clearer;
Do you think this would be enough? I might add a small brace on the riders side like you say, too... belt and braces.
