Been looking at trike dolly,s on eBay. Like the one that just fits on towbar.
Advantage being reversing. Can't reverse with trailer type dolly. I was holding back as unsure of what nose weight would be. Expected bout 150 kg,s. To my surprise got front wheel on scales & it was 100 kg,s. Just acceptable.

Re: Nose weight
Maybe as a nose weight, but there is some question of the legality of using a dolly to tow a vehicle, as by taking a wheel off the road it becomes a trailer. If a trailer has brakes fitted, they should work.

Thousands of people tow vehicles with no prob. Pehaps its one of those laws thats never enforced. Even aa & rac doit.

Re: Nose weight
RAC and AA are allowed to.
The general purpose for dollies is for recovery. Not as a "permenant solution"
I agree, loads of people do use them, and as you say, the law does not seem to be inforced.
But, what would happen in the instance of an insurance claim?

Proper trailer will always be better. I just like the dolly/bracket idea for taking trike behind my camper van on touring holiday round Scotland.
