Re: Abandoned project
Not sure. I haven't actually seen the trike in the flesh yet as I'm working away. Bought it off eBlag and had it delivered a few days ago. A bit of a punt but i figured worth a gamble. Will take a look at the paint when i get home.

Re: Abandoned project
Well, finally getting stuck into the trike albeit a bit late. The spare 1200cc engine has gone off to Bugbitz in Moy to be upgraded to a 1600cc so that will give it a tad more power. Body and wheel arches are now off and don't seem in too bad a state structurally, wiring all removed. Sourced a springer front end to replace the old Honda one, the springer legs need extending 300mm so that will be the next job. Going to strip off some more tomorrow and start grinding the crap off before it goes for re-welding. Now got to find a painter for the shell and work out how to fabricate a bump frame (similar to the nice Boom ones) but connecting from the footrest to the subframe. Anyone interested in taking a look at some pictures here is a link to my Facebook page (I can't seem to get links for individual pictures for some reason......sometimes I hate working on an IPad!) https://www.facebook.com/HALRestorations/

Re: Abandoned project
nice trike, lots to do.
One thing that always worries me is the rake and trail on that the front end seems very upright, very bike like. I would suggest having a look at that especially as you are using springers.

Re: Abandoned project
just an extra thought why do trikes always seem to have ape hangars?
this is why I went for beach bars, something different was needed.

Re: Abandoned project
Just loaded some more images into the album as the trike is pretty much stripped down. Cleaning to start tomorrow before all the welding has to be redone. Have yo say the welding generally is very poor and I wouldn't have ridden the thing on the road!
