It will take time, started building mine 7 years ago, took 18 months to get it on the road and legal but still modding/changing things to make it better for me, also welcome to the nut house

Better to take your time and do it right.When I bought the Pan it had 100mm pcd wheels onto 4 inch Reliant hubs which I heard was a no no. Had adapters made and after a bit of playing about with wheel/ tyre combinations feel I've eventually got the gearing about right. Always a work in progress!

started with a 13oocc engine thought it would be enough but needed more power so in went a 1641cc engine, then used a couple of different carbs untill I built a 2006cc motor with twin 40 dellortos, last winter fitted a 3.88 ratio gearbox as able to use the power available to get more speed, changed the rear slave cylinders to 22mm beetle front ones to get better rear brakes.
