Hi from North West Newbie

Hi all, been looking at a trike since the wife lost her bottle on the back of the bike... Not sure of which way to go but at the minute leading towards the BOOM car type rather than converted bike.

Hope to fit in here as it looks a friendly helpful place

Cheers

Welcome Ste. lots of good stuff here. my only bit of advice. try more than one trike before you buy. they all have different characteristics.

Thanks fellas, I'm not dead set yet but hired a Boom last summer for a week to see if she was OK on it and she loved it, felt really safe as it held her in place.
To be honest I think it was my aggressive style of riding that put her off the bikes, head down arse up, like it stole it, you know how it is!

I'm weighing up building one but like the idea of converting an FWD car to a RWD trike.

Welcome to the institution....best of luck with your trike hunt.
.
This nation wasn't given to our forefathers, it was wrought over a 1000 years of bloody war and the efforts of those who came before.
Let it not be us who bears the sin, of giving it away to the enemy within.
