Funny you should ask that, I was talking to Barry "Deepdiver" the other day about that style of pipe & that they are prone to crack at the base of the tubes if they do I'm not going to bother welding them just replace with stainless cannons so they may be available at a later date if you don't mind a bit of welding

Nice one Gorbee, I've got those exhausts on my trike and I've never heard about the tubes cracking at the base before, I think Barry just wants them off you cheap lol.gorbee01279 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 2:53 pmFunny you should ask that, I was talking to Barry "Deepdiver" the other day about that style of pipe & that they are prone to crack at the base of the tubes if they do I'm not going to bother welding them just replace with stainless cannons so they may be available at a later date if you don't mind a bit of welding

No I'm happy with my Highway stacks, but the mufflers need replacing as there chrome steel and rusting, the pipes are stainless but not the stacks. I've found a custom exhaust place 20 mile away that can do the job.Aztec wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 3:53 pmNice one Gorbee, I've got those exhausts on my trike and I've never heard about the tubes cracking at the base before, I think Barry just wants them off you cheap lol.gorbee01279 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 2:53 pmFunny you should ask that, I was talking to Barry "Deepdiver" the other day about that style of pipe & that they are prone to crack at the base of the tubes if they do I'm not going to bother welding them just replace with stainless cannons so they may be available at a later date if you don't mind a bit of welding
