It's OK in the states as they have different rules regarding trikes. The main reason there not legal in UK is they would be classed as quads, they would also require the to wheels to be braked plus handbrake fitted that's why you don't see them in the UK. Some people have tried to sell them on ebay in the past without success.

But was it driven or trailered to rally?. I Inquired about these a few years back with VOSA & they were adamant that they were illegal in the UK, you may get away with it with the police, as they know nought but if pulled by VOSA they will nick you, at least that's what they told me. I looked at a Harley with that setup a good three years ago + being sold by a bike trader after I told him it was illegal to rid in the UK he took it of sale and sold the Harley separately, so he must of been told the same when he inquired. If not sure check with VOSA but I believe i am correct.

he drove it there with a trailer tent behind it imo it looked crap not something i would use . he probly insures it as a bike
