Hi Tom, been looking on ebay & the place i got my axle & propshaft from are still advertising complete axles & also all individual parts. He's using the name josepmaso472. Had no probs with my axle & various other bits i got from him, worth a look.

Now my next question is I have a driveshaft from the bike that has a 33mm dia fitting on the end the other end has a U.J
I need a piece of reliant driveshaft with a UJ the distance from diff flange to tip of shaft is 140mm
What I want to know is a will this shaft need a sliding coupling it is going to less than 12 inches long all comments are welcome
This has been a baptism of fire for me only got the trek last November

Hi Tom, glad it all went ok & that you're making progress. A photo or sketch of what you need would help enormously. Still got a few parts of Reliant prop shaft left, one end with a UJ. When i had my prop shaft shortened & adapted to fit i went for the option of a sliding coupling from the prop shaft to the diff UJ. Engineering firm that did the work said it was the right way to go & also gives you some room to take the shaft out without removing the axle. Good luck mate. Bob.
