Hi guys - looking for advice on selecting a more responsive, adjustable set of shocks for the front end of my Misty Blue. The guy who rebuilt this - Les Nash (prior to Marcs remodelling) said the shocks came off a Harley (pic attached).

In use - to me they are as stiff as old boots and I would like some that are actually working as shock absorbers. I have seen Harley guys comment on how stiff / useless the shocks are on some Harleys and I think I have a similar type.
When you watch a Boom trike front end in action - they suspension at front moves quite freely in accomodating road bumps
Any thoughts / advice welcome.
Anyone also got thoughts on what the front wheel is off? A mechanic friend told me he thought it was off a Honda - rear wheel. Bearings have collapsed from sound of it.

When Les Nash rebuilt Misty - it had a single shock on the front like most Trike Teks - he said it was off a Honda & useless - that's why he put the Harley shocks on

With shocks that are so short / have limited travel they will always be hard to control and thus over sprung or damped. Maybe a custom shock builder like Hagon would be able to help, its only a phone call or email?

The front wheel does look like a Honda rear one. Bearings are easy to sort out, just take the old ones to a local bearing supplier and they should be able to match up the numbers on them
