Most rads are electrically isolated - rubber vibration mounts etc so wires need earthing to frame or battery!

The rad is earthed to the frame.
However, today I took rad off and tested it off a car battery and it worked!!! Bang on!!!!
So I've replaced the earth wire and tidied up the connections so I have metal on metal.
The fuses are also all ok
I'll be putting it back on tomorrow so fingers crossed
