Hi all,
Looking for advice, I have decided to have a Valkyrie triked and am looking for a donor bike spotted a few, one I like is a 2000 with only 9.000 miles full history my question is I have heard that often low mileage older engines can suffer from rubber seals etc. drying up cracking and end up failing when used regularly.
Really like the bike but can anyone advise me if the gl1500 is prone to this problem or should it be OK, don't fancy spending a couple of grand on a rebuild after the conversion.
Any advice/help appreciated.
Cheers

I've got a 1997 with 16000 miles on with no problems loads of touqe too .check for rust on the edges of the gaurds as they are steel. They make a nice looking trike not many around the guy that owned my bike was seventy years old and it got to heavy for him so he brought a trike version

Hi Dave,
had a trip to Casarva they have a valk as a tester took it out and totally smitten so decided to go for it, the cruiser seating position was so much more comfortable than the Guzzi will ever be, is there a meet coming up soon?

Two years ago I bought a Valkyrie 2000 with 17000 on the clock. IMO the Valkyrie is the best looking bike ever built and fast as f@“#K. There was a Trike on eBay some time back
