V-Star conversion

Post by firebob22 »

Hi all, hope you're all keeping safe & well. Just a few pics of the work so far on the V-Star. It's been pretty easy so far but I have got some parts in an engineering shop being made, but as things stand, don't know when i'll get them back. Going to go as far as I can without them for the time being. All very loosely mocked up at present, but no rush! Take care all. Bob. :grouphug:

Hi all, just an update of the build so far & a few pics. All's going well, nearly finished the back end & just having the drive shaft/UJ shortened to fit at a local engineers, as i've not got the facilities at home. Just getting on to the rear brakes, hooking a rear master cylinder to work the Reliant drums. Using the same cylinder as i've got on the 1100, works fine on mine so why change? Also been teaching Tina to ride on mine as she's never ridden a bike before & getting used to bike controls is a bit of a challenge. She's doing really well & won't take many more lessons to be confident enough to get out on the road. Take it easy all. Bob.
