Yamaha vmax full power

Post by minimutly »

Well the 750 Kawa has gone, pxed it for the 1996 Yam vmax. It came with issues, but also with a glorious Casarva irs rear end - no more dodging potholes, wincing over bumps, standing up going through villages on A roads, feeling my bladder is about to burst!
Issues? Did I ssay issues? Well yes, a knackered engine was a major one, a holed piston at least, initially to be fixed, but I decided to buy an engine from ebay for now.
So I am riding it, hopefully do a few k this year.
Pic below, will post more as I can.

[image][/image]Well it was nice (thanks btw). It still is to be fair, but it nearly wasn't. The lower offside wishbone cracked and bent, caught it before it collapsed.
I've cut out and remade the broken tube and the one next to it in bigger, thicker tube. In the process of making a joining plate and lugs.
