we don't need MOT's on Trikes or Bikes here in Rep Ireland.....yet...

Gobsmacked....I'd have though the Germans, sorry, the EU would have clamped down on all this obvious fun and freedom your having. How very dare you enjoy yourselves while Angela Merkel is stuffing her East German face with Bratwurst. ;)

Unlike the UK, The Republic take the rules with a pinch of salt.

My Dad's village had a petrol pump/shop/pub, with an entrance through the shop, or directly into the bar.
When the EU decreed that Bars should not be part of a shop, and have a seperate entrance, the blocked up the seperate entrance.

Nothing like sitting in the shop, chewing that with the locals, with a pint of Guiness :)

Nipping over for a week is like taking 2 weeks out.

still a couple of shops/garages/bars like that...i think 2022 is when the MOTs on bikes trikes comes in...but we have to wear helmets on trikes

I have just been told if I wear a seat belt I can go helmet-less
