I have a love/hate relationship with external links opening in the same window.
Technically, according to standards, that is what is supposed to happen. Opening an new window/tab is bad form.
However, if some posts an ebay link I like it to open in a different tab/window, so I can look at it, and then close it to go back to the forum.
This is especially the case if you then go off on a tangent and look at other stuff.
You then end up hitting the back button umpteen times to get back to the forum.
Anyways, I will let you guys decide, as maybe better as it is on a phone.
And, no I can not make it phone/desktop/tablet specific.
Do you want external links to open in a new tab/window?

Mkay, that has not been enabled.
It works retrospectively, so includes previous external links.
