Be interesting to know what it's registered as....think the clue might be in the price and the hurry to get rid. But you never know.
This nation wasn't given to our forefathers, it was wrought over a 1000 years of bloody war and the efforts of those who came before.

Think I would want to know the quality of the welds under all the clag that has been slapped over them, and as Sprocky says get some gussets on them.

I know I've rattled on about this before, but to me it stands up just as well now as it did then. If you can weld well enough to build a good strong and safe frame, then why would you want to hide all the beautiful welding runs under a load of claggage.
Back in the day when I used to race stuff, scrutineering would never give you a "pass" if you'd put gobbo all over your welds....especially the roll cage. You HAD to show your welds to prove they were gentleman's sausage on otherwise you went back on the trailer.
Or do it the really old fashioned way, yeah yeah...the way I was taught LOL. Weld it properly, then run braze over the weld to give it a nice smooth look, then rub that down ready for paint.

Tricky to tell whether a finish like that is hiding filler as well though Rik.VmaxRik wrote: . . . Weld it properly, then run braze over the weld to give it a nice smooth look, then rub that down ready for paint . . .
Looks to me like all those frame 'hoops' are adding little to it's structural well-being, it'd be interesting to see the head-stock area in more detail too.
I've sent him a message asking about the reg, and whether it's been MSVA'd or not . . .

Well done Doc...
Agree about the brazing, but that was only if you'd done it yourself...chop frame, that kind of thing.
