New trike build. With pics XJ900F

Post by $imu$ix »

Starting my trike project build this week, need some ideas of what fuel tank can be used as alternative to original fitment? Cheers

start a build tread with photos from the start of the build advice will be easier to give what most do is keep the old tank and fit a second one as a reserve if needed

You would have to have one made to fit your frame.

Not neccessarily! The XJ has a spine frame ie. single top tube - if I remember correctly? There used to be loads of places who did Chopper / Customising parts that had off the shelf tanks - Hardly Tractors might be a good source? Custom Chrome is a name stuck in my head - no doubt long gone now though!

You can get the big twin split tanks (one each side) and try them. If you want to take out a mortgage to by new
